Technology

I find it amazing on how much technology has grown since ive been just a wee little grasshopper. I think back of my house when I grew up as a child...yellow carpet, a big out of ground swimming pool and countless knick knacks that, by todays standards at least would'nt be seen in any decent home...our first phone was a rotary phone...anyone who remembers these also remembers that if you made one mistake you had to start all over...I belive it took about 5 minutes to dial a phone number...Now I dont know many people who still have a home phone...You feel lost without your cell phone...and lord forbid if you accidentally break it or leave it at home for a day because for some reason people just cant handle not getting a hold of someone for a few hours. The reason I bring this up is technology fascinates me...I didnt have the internet till I was probably about 20 years old...and cable...well I just got it this year. The things that are out there are interesting, amazing, and sometimes just plain odd...in my blogs you will find a variety of websites I find while surfing the world wide web...some funny...some interesting...some just plain odd. Anyhow I wont drone on anymore. Time to surf the web.
